Leading-edge Lord Shiva

Here Lord Shiva is seated in a meditative posture and he is seated on a tiger skin. A serpentine coil covers his neck and he is also wearing a garland of rudraksh. His hair is also nicely treated as his trident and dambaru are placed behind the statue. His one hand is placed on his leg and the other is blessing the devotees as the half-closed figure of the Lord reveals a sense of devotion and satisfaction. Lord Shiva is widely worshipped by the Hindus and is one of the most powerful deities in Hindu pantheon. Whereas Lord Brahma is the creator of the universe and Vishnu its preserver, Lord Shiva is the destroyer of the order. But such a destruction becomes necessary for a fresh beginning.
