Beautifully crafted Mighty Lord Hanuman in Abhaya Mudra

The beautiful brass figure of Lord Hanuman reflects a deep sense of devotion and spirituality that instils into the heart of a devotee a sense of selfless devotion towards the master. The backside of the figure is given a spectacular treatment. Here the Rambhakt hanuman is in Abhayamudra. Abhayamudra is the gesture of reassurance and safety and is a hand pose that dispels fear and accords divine protection and bliss to the devotees. In this mudra, the Lord is holding his right hand upright, and the palm is facing outwards. This is one of the earliest Mudra found depicted on a number of Hindu, Buddhist, and Jaina images. Hanuman is a paradigm of deep and selfless devotion towards his master Lord Ramchandra. Hanuman was unaware of his mighty prowess until he meets Ramchandra.
