Artistic God Gajmukh Ganesh

Here the Lord of Wisdom is shown in a sitting posture as he is eating his favourite modaks. The use of blue reconstituted turquoise and red coral in the brass figure adds some more colour and makes it more attractive. One of the most popular gods in Hinduism, Lord Ganesha is known by as many as 108 names and Gajmukh (elephant headed) is just one such name. The Lord is invoked first before initiating any religious ritual and is the Remover of Obstacle. He imposes obstacles on our path and removes the same following worship.
